On-tap 11/6/2015 at Natty Greene’s Tavern, in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with a strong floral hops bitterness followed by some sweet flavors of caramel and citrus. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a while.

Enjoyed on draft at Foundry in Northampton. poured into a modified pilsner pint glass
A - A touch of haze, wonderful orange blossom in color, carbonation feed a pillowing white cap/
S - Bright orange notes, hints of pineapple, a beautiful aromatic beer.
T - Fine use of fresh hops, the base beer is accentuated with the hop use, herbal in a good way. Not to
oily, as some can be.
F - Medium in body, with a full palate coating and delightful dry finish.
O - A wonderful offering from Wormtown, and fine use of the bountiful fresh harvest.
Cheers

this is super good, one of the first wet hop beers ive had this season. pungent nose on the crystal clear orangey colored brew, its packed with wet hops, and the oil content is immediately obvious in the nose, dank and wet, northwestern for sure. i cant even venture a guess which hops they used for this, but its probably not the most exotic stuff. the profile of the hops is even familiar to me, its just they way they used them here, and the quantity that stands out. slick in feel, and brilliantly balanced with a pinch of a richer crystal malt in the mash, gives body and a mild sweetness thats needed here. not that the hops are real bitter, but its like even the best whipped herbed garlic butter is pretty gross if you dont have bread to put it on. notes of pineapple and pine and orange peel radiate in the taste, and n almost greasy mouthfeel results from the wet hops here too. well controlled bitterness levels, and carbonation that is alive as the hops in this beer. wet hop season is probably my favorite time of year, and this gem from wormtown was a great way to kick it off!

Tap at the brewery.
Nice creamy foamy head fades at a med pace, nice touch lacing, hazy honey orange color.

Nose fresh citrus hops, tangerine orange, grapefruit, nice fresh grapefruit, touch of dank resin, little sweet malty character. Touch of a cereal grain.

Taste quite bitter, lots of pith, grapefruit pith, orange rind, juicy but musty citrus, big fruity character coming up, little fruity bubblegum, generic stone fruit. Mild sweet malt character, light amber malt. Tart grapefruit on the backend. Finish dry and quite bitter, lingering citrus rind and tart grapefruit.

Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little tingly carb feel, and touch of a gritty feel.

Overall pretty nice, very enjoyable, quite bitter, not as dank as I expected, nice grapefruit and citrus, fruity, clean, just enough malt to push the hops through.
