Cask at the brewery.
Nice foamy creamy head, especially for a cask, super murky bright orange color, nice messy lacing.
Nose is big and bright, tons of fresh hop, a hint of piney like orange bursts and quickly gives way to big citrus fruit, fresh juicy orange, tangerine, little lemony and grapefruit punch, fresh floral cascade, touch fresh malt.
Taste starts with tea surprisingly, fresh herbal tea with touch of piney earthy, big floral fresh cascade, like a cascade hop tea. Then mild citrus, orange cream, touch of tangerine, citrus pith, little Clementine. Hint of juicy fresh malt. Finish fairly bitter, little lingering rind and mild cascade tea, little orange peel.
Mouth is med bod, touch creamy, light bit decent carb for cask.
Overall not quite what I expected. Carbonation and head see nice for the cask, bitterness and malts are right there, the nose was great, I love the fresh cascade hop... But the presence of the mild earthy pine and the herbal tea was not expected. A nice touch.
