Tap at the brewery.
Nice creamy foamy head, 1/2 finger leaves nice lacing, dark murky auburn mahogany brown color.
Nose is big, perfumey phenols, big acid and I think acetobacter, a little solventy though, a little malty note as well, peppery spices, sour funk, tart darker fruit like soured pomegranate or something.
Taste is great, toasted reddish malt and rye I think, quickly into sour, a blend of fun sour characters all over the map, acetobacter, big acidic sourness, lacto, maybe even pedio sour funk, mild phenols with spices and touch of solventy, flemmy lacto sourness, all rounded nicely with big buttery slight vanilla oak barrel. Finish sticky flemmy, more acidity, reddish toasted malt, sour with tart darker fruit, a bit of a bitter spicy hop that would normally clash but somehow doesn't, and buttery oak lingering.
Mouth is med bod, nice carb, sour and acidic, flemmy.
Overall it's def an interesting beer, big sour super tart funky, acidity acetobacter funk flemmy sticky creamy sour etc, a unique malt character as well, as well as the saison phenols getting through, and somehow bitter spicy hops late actually blend fairly nicely somehow. Hard to drink much but def tasty.
