Huge thanks to rudzud for getting this for me. Growler filled nov 23
Pours pitch black as a small fizzy dark head rises up and fades semi quickly, a little lacing, inky black legs
Nose is nice, big cinnamon out front, dark chocolate and hit cocoa, mild roast, Mexican chocolate, some spicy pepper notes, vanilla, almost no barrel
Taste brings more of the same, big Mexican chocolate, big chipotle peppers with real great, big cinnamon, dark chocolate, vanilla, a flash of oaky barrel, and background whiskey, Dutch chocolate on the back end, and mild roasty, also candy sweetness and mild bitterness, touch spicy heat and cinnamon hot chocolate on sticky finish
Mouth is fuller bod, rich and not too heavy, little pepper and cinnamon head that builds, flash of alcohol, light but decent carb
Overall very nice peppers cinnamon and chocolate, wish the base stout was a little more prominent, as well as the barrel which was basically lost

Enjoyed at the brewery on the special Black Friday release.
A - Poured into a standard tulip a nice dark black hue with a thin off white head that fades to leave a thin blanket.
S - Woah! Big aromas of Mexican chocolate. Spicy peppers flash in and out, enormous cinnamon and vanilla along with dark chocolate. Like I'm huffing from a bag of powdered Tazo Mexican chocolate. Only knock would be the barrel/whiskey is incredibly subtle.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with really pleasant cinnamon notes without being overly assertive. Vanilla is really pleasant the pepper is on the fainter side. Nice soft barrel note with a little whiskey. The chocolate is rich, definitely drinks like a powdered Taza chocolate bar.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, creamy, alcohol hidden well.
O - Overall this was a delight to try. Excellent cinnamon notes with really pleasant vanilla and a light pepper heat. Barrel is super mellow. Just a crazy improvement to the regular Tennessee Tats.
