Can poured into a nonic
Two finger creamy off white foam layer , good retention, settles to a pencil thick layer , some lacings over a translucent deep amber liquid
Aroma of tropical fruits, malt/rye, citrus, whiff of earthiness
Taste is rye , earthy
Low sudsing , gentle hop bite lingers nicely, semi dry finish
Good beer

Can to English pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking bronzed burnt orange to copper color with a good finger and a half's worth of white foamy head. This took its time in dissipating. In turn, it left a messy intricate foamy to slight bubbly lace roaming all around my glass.
The aroma had a nice bled of caramel/biscuit malts centering around some grassy to citrusy and marmalade hop features. Sweet floral hop prints in the backbone.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side meshing all of the prior mentioned aromas together nicely. Good clean taste leading into the aftertaste with a touch of sticky biscuits and piney to grassy character.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a full sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Some sticky dry pine rubbing my tongue, some cling. Good finish of sticky pine and biscuity malts.
Overall, pretty nicely done APA I'd have again and could definitely have with an assortment of different foods.

From the one pint can, which appears to have been packaged in September 2018. Sampled on November 17, 2018.
Slightly cloudy looking golden-amber pour with a tremendous, long lasting white fluffy head.
The aroma emits sensations of citrus, tropical fruit, and a lower profile white breadiness. Generally clean smelling.
Medium or so body.
The taste is not quite as vibrant as the aroma but there is a pleasant enough toasted bread and bright hop character. Mildly dry and lingering bitterness.
