growler Thanks to rudzud
Big foamy creamy thicker head retains well, good lacing, very dark basically black beer

Nose plenty of roast and black malt, burnt coffee, toasted coffee beans and toasted malts, little stout malt and char

Taste mild sweet stout but mostly acrid charred roast, roasted malts, burnt coffee, charred coffee beans, touch fluffy nougat creamy malt, bitter roast, acrid bitterness, tannins, dry but sticky

Mouth is med bod, fizzy aggressive carb, sticky little alcohol burn, sticky

Overall just disappointed, was a fairly meh beer

Picked up a growler of this at the brewery and shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a thick mocha head that fades to leave light wisps and a creamy halo.

S - Big aromas of burnt acrid roast, heavily charred coffee beans, light chocolate. Loads of burnt coffee.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of of acrid roast and burnt coffee grounds, light chocolate. Really burnt and almost stale coffee. Just not a good bean either.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, watery. Thin.

O - Overall this was a really disappointing beer. Terrible coffee notes, burnt acrid roast. Really poor.
