Brewed in collaboration with Von Trapp Brewery.
A collaboration with von Trapp Brewery this is our take on their Double IPL with a “Piece of Mass” twist by using American Left Coast hops, our house ale yeast, water profile and of course brewing it at our Worcester brewhouse. This beer is dry hopped for a popping citrus flavor and aroma with a solid malt backbone.

Piney taste with a bitter bite at the end.
Worth a try but most likely not going back to buy too soon.

From the 16 oz. can dated 11/18/19. Sampled on December 27, 2019.
The pour is golden in color with good clarity and a soft and long lasting white head. Slow bubbling carbonation.
The aroma is pine for the most part and it is quite forward. There is a cereal and barley grain underbelly.
Smooth, medium or better mouthfeel.
Biting pine like bitterness in the taste. Maybe a peppery aspect at the end. The bitterness is quite strong.

16 oz can into IPA glass. Dated 11/18/19.
Look is semi-clear copper orange. Smell is light tropical fruit. Taste is a light tropical fruit. Feel is light. Overall ok IPA but not something I would seek out.

Nice white head with clear orange body, fruity smell and similar taste. Nice solid mouthfeel. More of a West Coast IPA look with the fruitiness and juiciness of an New England IPA. Very enjoyable to drink but not a barn burner.
