[Original rating 2011-07-05] Pours deep dark brown with a slight red tint. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee, slight chocolate. Taste is roasted malt with a strong bitter finish, but something seems a bit off... astringent? Over all not bad but not my favorite porter.
