We took our Hopulence recipe, but you guessed it ... we swapped the hops! We wanted to keep the essence of one of our favorite DIPA's, so no expense was spared by brewing with a reckless abundance of hops.
Once you start hopping this much, you really can't stop. The result of this recklessness is the first version of our Hop Swap.
Primary hops: Mosaic, Cashmere, Azacca & Idaho 7

Pours an almost clear golden color with a tall head and lots of lacing.
Smells of slightly dank floral, piney hops with some citrus and sweet fruit.
Tastes of sweet bready malt, bitter hops, grapefruit, orange and a bit of pineapple with a bitter finish.
Medium body and carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.
This is a bold and bitter West Coast brew that has some juicy elements along for the ride.

Wormtown Brewery
IPA Imperial / Double
Yeah, it's a pretty classic old school west coast DIPA. Huge, fruity and bitter pine sap hops, highly saturated in complexity. Boozy amber malt is big and bold to balance. the hops. Earthy grapefruit, boozy tangerine and sweet malt are all heavy hitters

Pours a golden amber color with a large fluffy head. Aroma is fairly subtle - subdued graininess and hops. Tasting it, the hops are immediately pronounced, lingering on the sides of the tongue. There's a slightly sweet malt backbone to keep things in balance. At 9.0% abv, the alcohol is dangerously well hidden. Packaged on 9/22/22, another excellent beer from Wormtown - they've been killing it lately!
