Wormtown created this medium to light bodied red ale with light toasty malt aroma. Reddish copper in color, caramel malt flavor, light and dry roasted finish. A smooth and easy drinking Irish Ale.

This beer has an attractive dark copper color and a thick off-white head. There's an interesting, musty quality to the nose. Carbonation is low; body is medium. Smooth, sweet and malty. It's a better-than-average example of the style.

Perhaps a beer I should have had on St Paddy's Day a few weeks back, we have an Irish red ale, a style that is not readily available, at least around me, as I've only had 1 example of the style before. I've visited Wormtown before and reviewed their brown ale, which I was very impressed with, so hopefully this is good too
Pours a cloudy brownish gold with 2 fingers of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves no lacing
There really isn't too much happening in the nose, but the clean simplicity works in its favor. I'm picking up on aromas of fresh toasted bread, red malt, peppery hops, sweet caramel, and a touch of apple skin
Pretty much more of everything from the aroma going on in the taste here. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting sweet caramel, light citrusy hops, and doughy malt. The swallow brings notes of toasted grain, red malt, and sweet honey
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth and easy drinking beer. Finishes mostly dry with a nice toasted character to balance the sweetness
This is a solid beer, but nothing special. Super easy to drink so I could see myself getting it again, especially with food

Poured into clean glass, decent head but dissipates rapidly.
Smells sweet and malty.
Tastes rather sweet, almost cidery. Not much carbonation. Light and drinkable.
Overall, good and would seek out again. Seems good for someone who is not really into strong beer flavor.
