Served in a Snifter at Peppercorns
A copper golden color with the body. Head faded after a few minutes forming a nice ring around the glass
Nice aroma of malt and pine, some citrus as well.
Very sweet caramel malt some alcohol detection and pine. My girlfriend tasted toffee but I didn't pick that up, she could be right.
Medium body. leaves the lips sticky. Has a little spritzy feel. Some alcohol warmth lingers in the mouth.
Tasty brew to celebrate their first year. Ben, the brewmaster, of Wormtown does a great job with just about every beer I have had by them and this is no exception. Tasty, strong, feels nice and worth a shot.

glowing orange amber with a two-fingered eggshell colored head that quickly recedes to a thin film, leaving nice lacing behind.
lots of pine with some tropical fruit and a strong, yet tame malt sweetness.
some juicy citrus starts off the flavor, which doesn't quite go bitter, instead it stays fruity with a tropical fruit tang. it finishes a bit hot with some slight lingering bitterness, but more sweetness on the finish than anything.
a bit sticky with ample carbonation, and a slight harshness from the heat.
overall, its pretty good. Not my favorite DIPA, but an excellent local option that holds its own.
while the aroma is of the "Pliny the Elder" style with the pine, the flavor is of the "HopSlam" ilk with balance and sweetness, though its not quite in the same league as either of those.

Tap at peppercorns
Fluffy 1 finger thick head with a sticky lacing, over hazy peach amber orange red color.
Nose is beaming with fruity hops but maintain a bit on the lighter total aroma side, light typical fruit, pineapple, light citrus fruit, mango?, with a light sticky hop resin like aroma.
Taste brings a big fruit hop kick, tropical fruits, grapefruit, pineapple, citrus, very light fresh resins hop, light candy hop taste, some light sweet malts for a nice balance, fairly bitter and gets more so on the finish, as it dries and leaves a slight sticky feel and plenty of fruit.
Moth is med bodied with good carbonation.
Overall great, lots of fresh hops, great fruit hop and tropical flavors and aromas, light malty sweet balance, some bitterness but not a lot, very tasty.

This brew is in honor of Wormtown's birthday. Just tapped today, super fresh and super delicious. This DIPA is 85 IBU. Brewed with Maris Otter malts and American Pale and Hadley wheat malts. Also featured Amarillo and Glacial hop extract along with 8 other different hops. Poured into a snifter.
A - Cloudy almost burnt orange colour akin to natural oak/earth tones with a great creamy 2 finger head that slowly fades to leave sticky side lacing with a very light dusting on the surface.
S - Wow, lots of amazing pine resin but with a spectacular topical aroma at the end. Super light mango with a good malt sweetness throughout. There is some nice orange citrus notes too.
T - Starts with a light malt sweetness that carries throughout but then immediately you're struck with powerful/assertive hops. Great pine/grapefruit flavours that lead to very light, delicious tropical tastes. Very tasty.
M - Low carbonation but not heavy or syrupy. The ABV is noticeable on the end though.
O - Very fresh DIPA. All comes down to personal tastes though. I love the tropical quality/notes that occur on the finish both in the nose and the tongue. Very good DIPA offering from Wormtown.
