Tap at peppercorns.

Fizzy creamy 1 finger head fades at a med pace over hazy darker reddish copper brown color.

Nose has some reddish toasty crystal malts, some light earthy hops, a bit of a mild floral aromatic hop, a bit of a creamy malt effervescence.

Taste starts with a nice toasty malt, reddish malts and just a hint of a darker roasted malt like heavy crystal, slight creamy malt taste with a bit of caramel, some hops come through bringing a light earthy and hint of a spicy juicy hop profile, and more floral. A clean bittering hop taste as well giving it a nice bitterness. Finishes fairly bitter with lingering malts and a bit sticky, but a clean dry bitterness. A slight hint of yeast comes through very far on the back end.

Mouth is med bodied, decent carb.

Overall pretty good, nice hop profile, drinks pretty well, nice malt backbone as well. As the keg was just tapped and just finishes brewing a bit if the yeast hasn't fallen out yet so I'll have to see how that develops.

Just tapped at Peppercorns this is Wormtowns newest beer release that features all Massachusetts ingredients. This clocks in at a very sessionable 3.8% ABV and 40 IBU's and is an American Bitter, though I see no style on BA for this.

A - Poured into a Wormtown mug club glass a very good hazy ruddy brown colour with a super creamy two finger beautiful burnt red/rust color that slumped to leave spectacular side lacing and never less than a quarter inch layer of foam. Hands down the best appearance I've seen on a nondark wormtown beer.

S - Only knock on this is the somewhat too faint aromas of light sweet malts and bitter slightly fruity hops. Still nice though.

T - Wow this is good stuff. Like this profile more than their other offering of Masshole. Great malts upfront followed by wonderful fruity floral summertime notes. Really just awesome not too bitter notes. Super flavorful.

M - Really nice carbonation coupled with the low abv really makes this ultra sessionable. Not thin or watery at all.

O - Overall I really like this beer! A superb example or what local ingredients have to offer, paired with a very nice and flavorful style. I would drink this by the 12 pack if given the chance. Really worth drinking when at Peppercorns.
