Cask of Pumpkin Ale aged on Cinnamon sticks, Vanilla bean, clove, and coriander. served at cask Friday at the brewery.
Very little head as it's typical for cask, super hazy carrot orange color,
Nose has some pumpkin, little yeasty, bready biscuit malt, nice pumpkin, light toasty caramel, light spices nutmeg, cinnamon, really yeasty as it warms,
Taste brings vanilla, toasty bready malts and caramel, light spices again cinnamon, nutmeg, hint clove and allspice, nice pumpkin on the lighter side, some light earthy bitter hops, little chewy almost. Finish brings little more bitterness, nice pumpkin and spices, little more vanilla, and a bit yeasty.
Mouth is med bodied very little carb since cask.
Overall decent, drinkable, nice spices and vanilla, little too yeasty though. The vanilla adds a great flavor, and the spices come out nicely.
