deep brown/black with a nice, one fingered head that retains and laces well.

just a touch of pepper in the aroma, but more of a roasty stout, a bit roastier than their base Pro-Am Porter.

porter comes first, bitter cocoa, molasses, toffee, but is quickly overtaken by a rush of pepper. a decent mix of different peppers can be detected. fresh cracked black pepper, chile peppers, jalapenos. all providing different heats that linger for a different amount of time, but this is definitely a peppered porter.

medium bodied and creamy which belies the pepper onslaught that follows after the swallow.

I'd drink this again if in the mood and they made it again. very good. I like the variety of pepper flavors used.
