Tap at Peppercorns, with Rudzud.
Very small fizzy head that fades almost instantly, crystal clear toasty golden pilsner color.
Nose light toasty malts, nice pilsner malt with light sweet character, little grainy straw, also light grassy noble hops and bit of a citrus fruity hop.
Taste brings nice German pilsner flavors, grainy straw, toasty, lots of fresh pilsner malts, straw and little hay like, mild sweetness. Then hops, grassy noble hops, little fruity too, mild bitterness, hint leafy too. There's a hint of a dry bready yeasty character with the crisp lager. Finish is fairly dry and crisp, little grassy hop bitterness, more grainy toasty straw pilsner lingering. Fairly bitter overall.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carb.
Overall pretty good, fairly true to style, nice bitterness, nice straw pilsner malt, dry and tasty but nothing to special, and missing the decoction feel for a really true pilsner.

Brewed in honor of founder Ben Roesch's upcoming wedding. Poured into a pint glass.
A - Poured into a standard pint glass a crystal clear golden hue with as one finger head that feel almost immediately to leave thin wisps and no lacing.
S - Aromas of very light malts and faint hops, subtle cracker notes, gentle noble hops.
T - Taste is quite classical, good hop presence nice and European. Light sweet malts, faint cracker notes. Crisp and clean, refreshing, good light noble hop spice. Very traditional tasting.
M - Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, nice carbonation, light.
O - Overall I enjoyed this beer but the nose was a bit lacking and the bar tender gave just an awful pour.
