22 oz bomber poured into a DFH tulip glass. Quite carbonated (small batch, bottle conditioned?) and great head. Dark mahogany; a good sign. Most noticeable smell is a homebrew-esque twang, which is also present in the taste, and was offputting at first. I thought it was just green, but bottled-on date indicates it is 6 months old. Taste improves as the beer warms (or as I drink more). Bitter and flavorful with a roasty malt profile.
