Pours cloudy, dark orange-brown, with 1/2 inch head. Taste is oranges, lemons, along with black tea. Above average and different beer. Does not really drink like an American black ale though. Quality beer, but I am unsure if I would get this one again.

A - Black body and HUGE off-white head. Leaves tons of lacing.
S - Some toasted malts. Light smokiness.
T - Light malt, caramel. Dark fruity esters. No tmuch of a hop presence, but that may been to the age of the bottle 5/2015 was stamped on the bottom.
M - High carb, thin body. Made the beer feel refreshing.
O - Element brews a different type of beer than anyone else out there. I love trying all of their beers and this wasn't an exception.

500 ML bottle
Served in an IPA glass
It pours ruddy brown in color with dark amber highlights. A huge, tan head formed on top and left some rocky lacing.
It has a tea-like aroma. The smell is light with some floral and orange aromas.
The flavors is very light. I pick up a little orange tea taste. There is some toast flavor. It has a very dry and clean finish.
Dry and effervescent mouthfeel.
This beer is different. I would not call the bottle I had a black IPA. It seemed alive and lacked strong hop flavor. It almost seemed like a dark saison, but if this is another rice beer that could explain the clean finish. I could find no information about this beer on their website. It has me intrigued.

Surprisingly little information on the label. Bottle conditioned is good though. Just arrived at beer store is good too.
Pours black with ruby tints. The tight head that you would expect with a beer this color. Dark malt scent. Taste follows. Modest bitterness with mild hopiness. Carbonation fairly high. Pleasant and drinkable. Can't detect alcohol. If it had more hop character I would rate it higher.
