Not sure why this is “retired on BA.” Grabbed a can from the brewery today.
Looks ok. Big bubbles. Head just kinda disappears.
Look is a hazy NEIPA yellow.
Smell. Little grassy. Nothing from the hops.
Taste. Bitter. No real flavor to the bitter. Maybe a little lemon. Doesn’t really taste of either hop nor malt.
Mouthfeel. Fizzy and a little thin.
Overall. Home brew.

ELEMENT QUANTUM IPA 6/13/20
Fourpack acquired today. Colorful can art of physics symbols and large silver lettering.
a: Slightly hazy dark gold with an inch thick white head which receded to even surface foam and spotty to dense lacing.
s: Bready malt and some pine resin.
t: Follows the nose. Mild to moderate bitterness on the dry finish.
m: Lighter side of medium, good body and carbonation tingle.
o: A decent west coast style IPA, good for warmer weather. Officially retired according to BA but this fourpack just acquired at a local farm store today, no canning date seen.

Poured from a can filled last night at the brewery, into the pint glass.
A - Dark straw colored backdrop, very nice clarity, solid carbonation, a thin white cap with lacing clinging to the glass throughout the experience.
S - Lightly roasted malts, orange, guava, some pine notes as well.
T - Very much follows the aromatics, with pineapple added to the tropical thread.
M - Medium in body, a bit sweet to start then cruises in the bitter hops side, the finish is long and piney.
O - A very good IPA with the nod toward the west coast, clarity and feel are excellent , fine hops chosen and well executed. Lets hope it is packaged soon.
