From the bottle, it pours a clear golden amber with a nice head - a bit fluffy. Nose says pils and a bit bitter and grassy. Mouth says yum and enjoys the not overly bitter beer.

Half litre bottle, poured into oversized Tripel Karmeliet tulip.
A: Golden, clear, large foamy head, moderate retention.
S: Grassy, Hallertau and Tettenang hops, slight notes of tomato.
T: The Weyermann malts gave it a real sharpness, grassy, had hints of malty orange, slightly bready.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, nicely balanced and easy to drink.
O: Lots going on, the Alt Bamberg range are considered to be lower end
Bamberg beers but this had so much more going on than the typical "Fernsehpils" a positive surprise.
