On tap at the Vintage restaurant. You must like anise to like this one. Huge black licorice aroma. Taste was sweet maltyness with lots of anise. I thought using a barley wine to age in the barrels was perfect. It went well with the absinthe taste.

From Vintage's website : Truly unique barrel-aged rarity! This is a special version of our commemorative 500th batch ‘Milestone’ barley wine, aged in an absinthe barrel from ‘Toad Chateau’- the only one of its kind. 1.088 OG 45 IBUs 9.2% abv
Wonderful beer, crazy barrel, supple base barleywine...spirit flavors oozing all over this. Super unique and very well done...so happy to see what this place is doing and has become since the days of JT Headaches.
