The gin flavor isn't very intense and hasn't killed the sweetness as much as I'd expect but it still takes the edge off a bit. Not very junipery which is how I like my gin anyways. It tastes like a barrel aged Belgian from Vintage and that's a very good thing. It's sad that people chase well known whales but these bombers were available for weeks (months?) despite having just 10 or 20 bottles available.

On-tap at Three Cellars, Franklin, WI:
Pours very dark brown with a head that immediately disappears. No lacing.
The smell is of prunes, dark cherries, toffee, oak, molasses, a hint of chocolate. Very complex.
The taste is of molasses, mixed fruits (dark-ish - prune, fig, cherry - some banana?), toffee/caramel, a hint of chocolate, oak. A minty finish cleans it up in the finish in a refreshing way.
Full-bodied, but not thick. Very long, enjoyable, finish. Alcohol is well-integrated.
A wonderfully complex, unique quad. Rich. Excellent use of barrel-aging. Dangerously drinkable! A brewing work of art!
