12oz served on draft at Field Table, in a tulip glass. Pours a slightly cloudy light orange body, yellow hue, one finger white head, good retention, little bits of lacing. Smell is orange juice, tart lemon, bits of leather, minimal caramel and a mild acetic acidity. Interesting, and certainly a clean wild ale but with a bit more complexity than a typical kettle soured beer. Flavour is a nice lemon citrus combination with a mild acetic acidity, light grainy malt, and a bit of leather. Touch of grapefruit. Pretty nice. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, but still plenty of depth, good carbonation, refreshing with a slight dryness to it. A very nice beer and one that turned out better than I would have expected (for some reason). Not sure what the politics is behind this, but it's definitely a more than solid beer.
