Sampled 10/9/2010 at the brewpub. This is their Oktoberfest but unfiltered and possibly with spices added, not sure.
Pours a bit murky, red/orange, nice white head, not much retention, some lacing.
Aroma is of nutmeg, caramel, and a little Kolsch.
Flavor is again (oddly) of nutmeg, caramel, grape, German yeast, and malt. Kind of warm and low in CO2.
Body is medium and the beer is drinkable. Definitely an improvement over the tap version in this case.
