Somewhere over the Memorial Day 20th reunion week, there was a trip up north. . . between Kimberly, Neenah, Green Bay, Suamico and Marquette, Michigan, I ran into this beer. I'm guessing this was either in Neenah or Suamico. Good drunken times.
Pours a standard beer yellow gold color, but with a heavier viscosity compared to say your typical AAL yellow/blond beer. Counting Crows really seems like a cold winter day kind of band/music. Runs a thin 1/9" white head. Aroma smacks of some sweetness and coconut. Cheesecake? I guess that goes more to the mouthfeel. Meet up with ya there in a paragraph or two.
The taste does synthesize the mouthfeel of cheesecake thiccccness with a coconut topping. Seems obvious stainless steel as there is no wood component, fancy spontaneous bugs nor dryness in the mouthfeel. Its a pastry sour but without the excessive sugariness.
Its not the type of beer I wanna crush 72 oz of in a setting, but ya know a single serving of it can be decent enough to qualify as "hitting the spot". This is the first review of this beer on this Next Glass owned portfolio. You're welcome.
