12 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter.
As the label proclaims, this is actually a DIPA. Not only is the ABV on the high side, but this is a malt heavy mix that drinks more like an Imperial Brown than an American IPA.
Smooth, properly carbonated, full body.

This brew is completely clear, with an amber hue. The head is very thin, and bleached white. The aroma is of spicy hops....pine and orange pith are underneath. Some malt. The taste is semi-dry, with a flavorful malt undertone. The beer isn't as bitter as expected. Full in body, and worthwhile.

Aroma is citrus, sweetish malts and spicy hops. The flavor is citrus, tropical fruit/zest, malts, mild toffee and a mix of spicy hops and a bitter/slightly sour finish.

Bottle from gregwilsonstl, thanks for the opportunity!
Crystal clear deep golden color with a yellow white frothy long lasting head. Caramel and fruity maltiness with plenty of citrus and light pine to counter. A hint on the sweet side, but pretty tasty.

Deep gold to copper in color with half inch thick light brown tinted head. Plenty of lacing. Pronounced aroma of piney hops seems to fade quickly and then there isn't much. The flavor is a more citrus hops, but piney hops are also making their presence known. There's light malt there to keep the balance. The mouth is initially revealing a moderate hop burn, but seems smooth considering 8% ABV. There's a date on the bottle of 7/14. Not sure if that was when it was brewed of the drink by date.

No BBD, Booh! Can't crack their dating code, maybe from the future?

Pours an effervescent copper/amber with 2+ fingers of bubbly pearl colored head. Stellar lacing, great head retention, stays effervescent through the pour (5.0)

S: Breadyness & tropical fruit, could be stronger (3.5)

T: Rich malts, tons of pineapple & mango, dryness & grapefruit up front, some mineral hop notes as well. Slight pink grapefruit rind notes, pine, & a little caramel as this warms, some flinty hops & breadyness. Finishes dry, with caramel, a little pear, grapefruit & pineapple (4.0)

MF: Medium bodied, lively carbonation, nice balance, turns a little astringent once warmed up, warming too, something to do with the 8.0 ABV I reckon... (3.75)

Drinks very easy, one they need to consider for 4 or 6 pack format. This could compete in the local area (4.0)
