330ml Can from Good Spirits Wine & Beer, Glasgow:
Opaque black with a 1cm, tan brown head that's foamy & holds well. Hops on the nose with faint sweetness, tropical fruits (peach, citrus, mango) then chocolate & darker malts in the middle with sugars & caramel to finish. The taste is darker still with roasted malts balanced with the tropical fruits & sugars from the nose. It's medium to full bodied, thick & creamy with good carbonation & a subtle hop bitterness; really nice stuff.

Bottled and bottle conditioned
Full on black body and thick lustrous tan head
Quite a hoppy aroma with treacle and coffee at the back
Liquorice and coffee and all good dark things
Better and fuller than many bigger stouts
