I really like the variety that London's new Brodie's Brewery has to offer. I decided on the Californian IPA, where they boast,
"How hoppy can we make an ale? Here's your answer. Three and a half grams of west coast Chinook hops per PINT!"
A - Pours a hazy golden orange with what looks like medium carbonation and a nice creamy but thin head.
S - Orange zest, west coast hops, nice sweet malt balance ,and some grass
T - Pine, orange peel (bitter orange), hops and the sweet malty backbone comes through in the nicely balanced sweet adn clean aftertaste.
M &D - Smooth and very nice and creamy texture. Lovely carbonation with small but lively bubbles. Drinkable enough but plenty of other IPA's I would rather drink more of.
Very nice offering from a small young brewery which I will be checking out more of in the future.
