Served in a footed glass at Mikkeller Bangkok.

Heavy head and a not quite clear gold. It smells hay-fruity; malty-soft; pine-sweet-sharp.

It tastes normal...then BAM funky what!? I think it went bad because it's cheesy, but actually that's quite nice. I think it's faded herbal English hops. The aftertaste is vaguely sour and thick. Full bodied.

Yellow color with a good thick head with nice retention and leaving laces.
Nice aroma of grapefruit, honey, lemon and slightly toasted malts.
Hoppy and spicy flavor with notes of grapefruits, lots of honey, pine cones, on a sweet malty base. Very dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with low carbonation.
A very descent IPA, hoppy, fruity and flavorful with a great balance.

On key keg at Mason & Taylor, Bethnal Green, London.

Hazy wheat blonde with stiff loose pitted white head that rings handsomely. Big musty grapefruit nose.
Table water crackers and big rotten lemon hops.
Salty end and tingly linger.
Lively, light, slight chew.

Citra bomb. Is it an IPA? Probably somewhere between that and a blonde. Plenty of funky citrus, though.

From cask dispense at the Old Coffee House, Soho.

I've listed this as an English IPA - but quite a hoppy number and could just have easily have been listed as an American IPA!

Pours a light golden/straw colur with a small fluffy white head - which really just turns to bubbles after a few minutes

Good honest hoppy smell - but not to a 'hop bomb' level hence listed as English IPA. Citrus nose and pine predominate with a little floral background.

Tastewise - again citrus hops, orange, mango, tropical fruit, pine a little caramel in the background

A medium bodied beer with low carbonation and a bitter-dry finish

Overall a decent hoppy IPA from Brodies - one to try again!
