Handpump halfpint at the King William IV.
A: Clear ultra-light straw body with a thin head of fine white foam. Ok lace. Not bad.
S: Nothing but lovely hops - very floral, quite tropical, and just terrific. Simple and great; Amarillo hops never smelled this good to me before.
T: Starts out with some rather intense hoppiness (a little piney, very floral), then transitions to some smooth citrus notes before finishing with some dry biscuity malt and a solid clean bitterness. Terrific little ale.
M: Light bodied with low carbonation. A bit more life would have been nice.
O: The deadness of its texture took something away from the vivacity of its flavor, but this was still an excellent brew.
Cheers!
