Handpump halfpint at the King William IV.
A: Clear chestnut body under some clumpy tan foam. Ok retention, light lace. Pretty standard.
S: Pleasant, restrained aroma of bready malts, fruitiness, and maybe a hint of earthy hops. Quite nice.
T: Lightly sweet caramel malt notes up front, followed by some toast and figs, and closed out by herbal hop bitterness. Thoroughly enjoyable.
M: Slick medium body, light, creamy carbonation. Ok.
O: A simple, no-nonsense, tasty Bitter. Good stuff.
Cheers!
