Tried on tap at churchkey in Washington DC. Aged in port barrels.

The beer pours a nice dark coffee color with a ring of tan head with some lacing. The head looks kinda thin and bubbly for a big stout.

The smell is nearly non existent for a big stout like this in a bulbous glass, but there are thin aromas of some roast, sweet cherry, a touch of cardboard and maybe a touch of fortified wine. The taste has a bigger presence with a lot of the acrid feel of dark coffee and a big burnt cherry and grape note. The feel is roasty with some lingering bitterness and sweetness, thinner than a normal stout of this abv but surprisingly little booze.

Overall not bad but not great for me, overall it lacks depth in the aroma and flavor.
