The Sun Inn

This is a lovely rambling country pub incorporating a small brewery were Norman brews some intersting beers. Never stayed in the rooms, always visiting on mini-bus trips with my local CAMRA branch: they are however popular with walkers, the pub being located on a well used long walking path in pretty rolling countryside.

There is always at least two of Normans beers on tap (cask) and plenty of other beers, cask, keg and lagerish. I have to add the beers are not always well appieciated by all, they can be sulphurous at times, I quiet like them, even if consistancy isn't always shown between brews. Norman is one strange guy, loves his pub, brewery and wife (most likely in that order) and is fun to talk too.

Multi roomed and homely, the food home cooked and good value, Sunday lunch being well frequented, need to book.

In short: an isolated brewpub with a crazy owner called Norman who everyone should meet.
