A - Dark black with ruby/purple on the edges. Decent sized creamy beige head that settles fast into an amazing looking lacing.
S - Not that strong, but some roasted malt and maybe the slightest bit of chocolate.
T - Roasted malt and chocolate malt are strong in this beer. They don't provide too much bitterness though. Very faint earthy hops in the middle to the end of the taste. Slight bitterness at the finish along with a nice little tangy taste.
M - Medium starting to border on full body. Wonderfully smooth and creamy. Maybe a touch thin.
D - Goes down very smooth and easy to drink. The flavors aren't particularly amazing, but they start to build up nice. Well balanced, not really bitter but not sweet.
Notes: Nice and easy to drink. Definitely a session stout. Mouthfeel is wonderful with the creamy and smooth taste. Flavor is lacking a bit in intensity, but it gets better as you drink it, and considering the ABV that would be what I would assume the flavor would be like. Not much coffee flavor or roasted bitterness at all. Not really sweet or bitter, but enough of a bitter and tangy finish to make it interesting.
