I had this one at the 15th Avenue Hop House in Portland (great bar btw). Served in a pint glass the beer is a Rudy copper with a sticky beige head.

The aroma is of tropical fruits and grains.

The beer has melon, tropical fruit and citrus notes, a bit of semisweet grains and there is something a bit earthy.

The mouth is medium with a bit of slickness.

Not a bad hot weather APA.

Look: Nearly clear burnt orange with a good-sized head that billows up and slowly settles, leaving sticky lacing on the glass
Aroma: Orange-led citrus fruits, berries, light honey notes, sweet bready malt, and black currants
Taste: Grapefruit rind, orange, currants, and berries all pop upon the initial sip and meld well while bready malt and honey begin to weave their way in. Closes with a light hoppy bite and more sweet bready notes
Mouthfeel: Full, medium-high carbonation, a little sharpness in the middle and end that seems to come from the carbonation, and mildly dry on the finish
Overall: I can dig it. I’ve never heard of these folks but spotted several of their beers at one of my local shops so snagged a single to try. Nothing amazing but very solid nonetheless and I’d try this again plus want to see what else they do. The can was 3+ months old so possibly on the downside flavor-wise as well, especially if it was at room temp for durations of that time. Tasty enough to keep me company while cooking
