Lovely looking beer poured into my dimpled mug! Deep amber/garnet highlights and a nice thick even, creamy light tan head. Handsome.
Aroma is of deep toasty luscious malts and citrus style hopping. very nice.
Taste is well balanced between the toasty dark chocolate malts and the nice brightness of the hops.
Mouth feel is very spry! medium body. lovely carbonation does not get sticky in the end.
A really good English style winter ale. This reminds me a lot of classi Full sail Wassail.
Outstanding.
