The colour is medium-dark brass. From my experience of Swedish Bayersk (Bavarian)-type beers, I had expected a more copper-red nuance. The medium-sized white foam dissolves slowly into a thin, smooth layer.
The smell is fresh and filled with lots of both malt and hops. There are also some fruity, burned and sweet notes.
The carbonation is gentle, yet fresh and pleasant.
The taste is balanced with a sweet touch of malt. The bitterness grows into a fine blend of burned, malty tones and a somewhat dry bitterness. The aftertaste last a long time with a dry-sour tone.
According to the brewery, this beer is brewed with Pilsner malt, Münchener malt, colour malt, Northerner Brewer- and Perle-hops.
