The colour is pale yellow; the airy foam forms a two finger thick sinking head.
The smell is quite strong with lots of malt. There are also chemical notes of honey and sweet bread and some bitter hops.
The taste is at first sweet malty (in a fresh way without the musty notes that I had expect), then it develops into a dry bitterness that finishes with a bitterness thats similar to green bananas. The (long lasting) aftertaste is dry and balanced with both semi-sweet malt and bitter hops.
The carbonation is strong with small bubbles
A more complex and biter lager than I had anticipated. The bitterness is a bit too simple and sharp for my taste, though
