A 330ml can with a BB of Aug 2018. Acquired a little while back from Tesco. The label calls it a crisp and refreshing lager from Sweden.

A: Poured into a pilsner glass. A golden-amber colour with good carbonation and some floating sediment. Forms a decent head of frothy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before collapsing to a patchy surface layer and then dissipating. Some lacing.

S: Aroma of pale malt with a hint of grain, faint earthy yeast and vague stewed leaves/husks. Bland but clean.

T: Tastes of light malt with notes of subtle grain, mild earthy yeast and faint stewed leaves/husks. A touch of cardboard in the background. Very dry, with a crisp, delicate bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body for the style. Could be a shade more substantial given the strength. Lightly astringent. Aftertaste of grainy pale malt, subtle earthy yeast and faint stewed leaves/husks.

O: Meh - average for a macro lager but quite an uninteresting drink. Looks OK, while the aroma and flavour are generally dull with faint off-notes. Body is alright. Fine if you like watery lagers with little character, but otherwise no great shakes. Give it a miss.

330ml Can from Co-Op, Glasgow:
Fairly bland and disappointing stuff here, this one was weak on the nose & with the taste throughout; hints of sweetness and corn punctuated an otherwise water-like beer that was about as boring as it can get without being outright bad. There was a few cheap adjuncts & the drink seemed under-carbonated into the bargain; definitely a poor showing & one I'd recommend avoiding.
