Had on tap.
A- Pours a pale golden straw color. One finger white head shows medium retention. Some spotty lacing that seems to stick a little but mostly slips back into the glass.
S- There is some sweetness off the front of the aroma. Candi sugar and light bubblegum (this is the first beer I can really smell that). Some toasted biscuty malts in the middle. Light earthy herbal hops in the backing. The belgian yeast they use comes out throughout the entire beer in a earthy note.
T- Sweetness galore in the front. Not sickly sweet but tons of candi sugar and earthy belgian yeast. There is a light toasted malt that comes through more biscuty so in the middle with light yeasty tones as well. Earthy bitter hops in the ending of the beer itself.
M- Light mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. Sweet sugary yeast and light malt left on the palate. Aftertaste is made up of light yeast earthy hops and alcohol. Light drying on the palate from the alcohol. Balance is a little off on the sweet malty side. The hops do a good job trying but fall just short. Clean overall flavors.
D- This beer was just about average. I could have seen a little more balance to this but I don't know if it would have helped out flavorwise. A good shot at the stlye but a little tweaking would be good.
