This was a 22ounce delivered and poured initially (12 oz) by my server. No head, I assumed was a poor serve. Then nearly no carbonation, and second pour from good height, still zero head. Nice malty, vanilla aroma with hint of caramel. Taste revealed a very poorly attenuated, cloying beer with little depth as expected from a scotch ale (wee heavy) of such strength. The barrel brought vanilla, no smoke noted, no complexity. A simple, under attenuated, uncarbonated mess. Poor effort...most knowledgeable brewers would never release under their own label.
