On-tap at McLaddens, Northampton, MA. Full notes taken to phone while drinking this last night.
A- Pint glass receives a golden brew with some wheat haze. The head is white and frothy leaving a puffy pillow and ring. Large sheet leads to rare spotty lace.
S- Reserved but strikes a balance between fruit esters and herbal spicy hops. Banana, light apple, Pils grain dust, cracker and lemons.
T- Lemon zest and citrus tart hint grows here compared to the aroma finding a balance with notes of apple, banana, pepper and floral spice hints. Grainy Pilsner malts.
MF- Light overall body with a bit of sweetness but falls on the dry spicy side. Texture is foamy and frothy from the medium high carbonation. Light herbal bitterness.
Fairly light in all aspects but no off flavors or obvious problems for me. A good balance of those fruity esters and herbal spicy tones.
