Poured from the 22 oz. bomber into an English nonick pint.

a: Hazy dark gold with a finger thick white head which receded to thin surface foam and patchy lacing.

s: Mild caramel malt and a bit of ripe light fruit

t: Follows the nose along with a little hop bite. Light cedar notes and more caramel malt flavor peek through later.

m: Medium, good body and carbonation tingle.

o: A refreshing brew, perhaps a bit lighter in color and flavor than some English style IPAs, but overall a pretty good representative example.

Poured a red-copper color with a 1F head in a Stone Imperial pint glass.

Distinctive aroma which lingers through the tasting: fruit, raisin, malt, and honey.

Lightly carbonated and malty mouth feel.

The taste accompanies the aroma: Raisin, slightly sweet, fruit, with a sharp bitter finish.

Overall: excellent approach to an English Style IPA. The aroma and taste have a lot of character.
Unfortunately, this beer has limited distribution in Western MA.

Moderate head that settles to a thin layer of bubbles. Some spots on the glass. Very light haze to the golden color.

Strong caramel and biscuity aroma. Mild hop in the background.

Full bodied with an almost cask-like carbonation--very true to the style. Clean, semi-dry toasted crystal malt start. Balancing hop is subtle and very present. This is a well-balanced IPA. Really impressive! The swallow has a touch of berry and mild white pepper hop. Slightly sour finish--short lived.
