Pours a decent frothy bubbly almost 1 finger head that fades at a med pace, nice lacing, very hazy auburn copper tan color.

Nose is weird, very herbal vegetal hops, like rotting leaf and grass pile, sweet caramel toasted malt little toffee.

Taste starts sweet with more candy caramel toffee nutty malts, toasty and pretty sweet, then herbal hops again, little vegetal herbal earthy grassy and chewy malt. Finish sticky sweet lingering herbal hop, fruity ester notes too somehow.

Mouth is med bod lighter carb touch syrupy.
Overall this beer was a huge mess, hops were bleh, way too sweet and malt choice was not good for this beer, also light on carbonation, and where did that ester thing come from...

Great, classic EPA. Biscuity malt dries in the mouth on a nice, subtle hop finish. Very sessionable.

22oz bottle purchased at Ryan & Casey Liquors, Greenfield, MA.

Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/4" off-white head over the slightly cloudy coppery golden brew. Head holds on ok, with slow-falling lace. Aroma is sedate and balanced.

Taste is relatively well-balanced also, with the bitterness shouting now and again over the underlying sweetness. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth, and drinkability is easy. I seem to see a trend here, Lefty's makes good, approachable brews.
