i had this on tap about a week ago.

This review differs from the one just before mine. I was in a month or so ago and the bierplezier did look yellow and light; however, this batch did not, and when asking about it they simply said.. double the cherries!

You can certainly tell they doubled the cherries. I could taste cherries, a bready yeast, and slight finishing bitterness at the end, but overall a very nice balance.

was light and refreshing despite all the cherries. perfect for an arizona belgian beer.

I could sit at the bar and drink a few of these, even though fruit beers are not my favorite. It fits the belgian style nicely and is very quaffable.

Fresh from the tap, it pours a somewhat hazy gold with a brilliant white creamy crown, as it fades to nothingness, the fine a fine coat upon the glass. Your schnozzle is greeted with a nice malt sweetness; followed by a deep earthy mustiness, unbaked sour dough bread comes to mind, hint of hop flowerers, spicy. Start is rich in malt, sweet with a Belgian yeast and hop bite at the back, top is medium in feel to the palate. Finish has a determined acidity, the hops perfect in their spiciness, very dry long lasting aftertaste. Apparently, this was to be a Belgium Blonde, some kind of faux paux ensued, and this beer has met some sort of resistance with the patrons at my most favorite "Pub", well "up yours" public, because I liked it! (Just kidding about the "up yours").
