A refreshing contemporary cask conditioned golden ale full of citrus taste and aroma. This ale is brewed using a single pale ale malt giving at a lovely golden colour. Citrus flavoured hops are used during the boil to produce an intense fruity flavour which is often enjoyed as a more flavorsome alternative to lager.

Looks like **ss. No head.
Smells of standard blonde beer hops.
Tastes like bitter stewed greens. Some dried grass.
Little carbonation and somewhat watery.
Not very nice.

500ml Bottle: BBD Jan 2014, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 24th July 2013.
Yet another golden citrus flavoured UK beer: I'm bored with them!
Slight haze to this golden bodied brew: a thin fading white head sat on top.
Sweetened lemon nose and taste: citrus feel throughout the tasting, yet there is a sweet undertone also in every mouthful. Nothing wrong with this, just me being idle with my writing.
OK, but blends into so many other similar brews of this type currently in Britain.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a dimpled pint mug.
Pours a clear golden colour with almost no head.
Smells of pretty much nothing, very very faint hops and malts.
Tastes pretty watery and bland, very conservative use of malt and hops.
Overall a shame, it was thirst quenching but nothing else. Boring.
