I tend to get high expectations when beers are limited editions and have roman numerals, but this is just another decent belgian tripel. Dark orange with a quickly fading head. Nice smell of resin and malt, taste of ripe fruit, caramel and alcohol. Mouth feel is a bit too light and the alcohol is a bit stingy. It's not that this is a bad beer, it's just that there are so many better alternatives available in this category.
