Purchased at Lekkerbier. Dark in glass, head quickly dissipates with some lacing. Taste is cocoa. But mouthful was different.... Carbonated. But much softer than most. Not as bitter as some. A nice brew.

Black color. Good beige foam.
In the smell a lot of cocoa and chocolate, with some fresh notes, almost balsamic.
In the taste again cocoa. Dry fruit, hazelnut. Green hop. Dusty notes.
Full and intense.
Strong cocoa in the aftertaste, too. Gain hazelnut. Then a good bitterness, root-like. Intense.
Long finish, pleasant, and even a bit of liqurice in the end.
Good.

Sample glass from a bottle at the 2012 Essen Christmas Beer Festival.
Black: with tanned, lasting foam head.
Dark chocolate on the nose and taste: burnt coffee comes along as well, with a dry, almost bitter aftertaste. Interesting and different.
Bordering on rich, but not creamy: hides the alcohol well and has smoky hints throughout.
