On tap at the Noble Ale Works 3rd Anniversary Party held at Noble Ale Works in Anaheim, CA.
Described as English 101 with lemon zest added.
Pours a hazy dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, toast, and lemon zest aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, lemon, and lemon zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a lemon zest presence that works well with the base beer.
