On tap at the Noble Ale Works 3rd Anniversary Party held at Noble Ale Works in Anaheim, CA.
Pours a murky honey brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, biscuit, and nutty aromas. Taste is much the same with toasted malt and nut flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty but has a slightly better smell to me.
