Raul wasn't exactly expecting the Hope Diamond of beers, but this one is a bit disappointing like a Leonardo Dicraprio and Kate Winslet love scene. It's clean, but way too vegetal like Bugs Bunny juicing his breakfast. No, Raul ain't too pleased with it at all.
Decent for a session IPA, but not the best.

On tap at The Glendale Tap in Glendale, CA.
Pours a clear gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and spicy herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and spicy herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice balance of citrus and spicy herbal hop aspects all around.
